About Us
The mission of Lord of Love Lutheran Church of Galena is three-fold:
- Support the mission of the greater ELCA - God's Work Our Hands
- Support the mission of the Northern Illinois Synod of the ELCA - Together we work to Make Christ Known in our congregations, our communities, our nation, and throughout the world.
- Develop a mission for our local community - Provide a home of love for all, one which is intolerant about intolerance and which is open to all disenfranchised persons.
